Cydia Replacement Sileo’s First Beta Released For iOS 11 Jailbreak

We have recently covered that Saurik has decided to officially pull Cydia’s plug. We also mentioned that a new Cydia replacement is in the works and it looks like the time has come. That’s right, first Sileo beta has been released for iOS 11 jailbreak. The platform has been in the works and more than five months after the initial tease, Electra has decided to release the first beta for iOS 11 jailbreak. First Beta of Sileo Released For iOS 11 Jailbreak

As we have mentioned earlier, Electra has decided to release the first beta of the package manager which is aimed at taking Cydia’s place. The beta is not bound to perfect as of now. Even after months of testing, there are several bugs and stability issues which will be fixed over time.

At this point in time, Sileo only supports the most recent version of Electra. In addition to this only Unc0ver jailbreak is not supported at this point in time. Despite the scenario, some users have reported that it is working fine for them. If you have used Electra jailbreak on iPhone or iPad, you can download Sileo from the Electra repo.

Furthermore, do take note that only Dynastic repo supports payments, while Chariz repo will add payment support soon as well. Users are experiencing a boatload of bugs on the platform while installing or uninstalling new tweaks, so be sure to take that into account as well. If you prefer a stable jailbreak experience, it would be wise to wait.
