We are genuinely humbled by the reception of Warhammer: Vermintide 2 from gamers all over the world. We reached half a million units within the first week, and one million within five weeks, which is far quicker than we ever expected.

To maintain the sales momentum, Vermintide 2 will get a 10% discount starting at 7 pm CET today and ending on April 19th. Fatshark also shared a nifty infographic which reveals that the five top countries playing the game are the United States of America, China, Russia, Germany and the United Kingdom.

So far, 373 million items were collected, almost 32 million loot chests were received (623K are still waiting to be opened, apparently), almost 9 million Grimoires were collected, and 11650K players have managed to complete the Skittergate mission on Legend difficulty. The overall number of logins is over 15 million and almost six million hours of time were spent watching Twitch streamers playing the game.

Fatshark is planning to launch beta tests for PlayStation 4 and Xbox One later this Spring, we’ll let you know once those go live.
