OMG! OnePlus 6 Is Vulnerable To Cracking

The flagship smartphone of the well-known Chinese smartphone manufacturer, OnePlus, of course, the OnePlus 6 is a pretty powerful, handsome smartphone and all this did not stop problems from appearing. According to some Reddit users, the elegant design of the flagship smartphone of the well-known Chinese smartphone manufacturer, OnePlus, of course, the OnePlus 6 is vulnerable to cracking.

There is no doubt that well-known Chinese smartphone manufacturer, of course, OnePlus makes great smartphones, priced well below what the same-tier competition charges. And the OnePlus 6 is an example of this, with heavy-weight hardware, promising cameras, and attractive design. On the other hand, apparently, the change from metal to glass in this generation has brought some major problems for some users.

A post on Reddit shows the image above, the back of the OnePlus 6 with the glass cracked and the source of the damage coming from the volume buttons. Other owners also noticed a similar problem, some with the cell suddenly cracked and others with latches that even came with the protection of a case in the device – one of them was the silicone cap, which comes in the box of OnePlus.

What draws attention is that the damage of all complaints originated from exactly the same location, where the volume buttons are. The cause of the damage is still a mystery but may be related to the heat generated by the Snapdragon 845 processor, which expands the glass and makes the area more fragile.

The chip is not exactly close to the volume buttons, but the heat generated spreads through the smartphone and the edges are the least resistance areas of the glass. Meanwhile, within the same post in the forum, users are torn between the statement that there is a design flaw, or that the cracking is the result of users being careful about their devices.
