Android Continues To Have More Loyal Users Than iOS

We all know very well that with a large number of brands contributing to its growth, Android is the mobile operating system of the tech giant Google with more users. However, now according to the latest reports, the tech giant Google’s most used mobile operating system, of course, continues to have more loyal users than iOS.

Android Continues To Have More Loyal Users Than iOS

With a large number of brands contributing to its growth, Android is the mobile operating system of the tech giant Google with more users. And to prove this recently, a well-known data analysing company published a new data sheet that mirrors this same trend.

The smartphone market is today increasingly competitive, with more and more brands and devices for all tastes and requirements.

Within the vast offer available, the Android operating system is the one that brings together a greater number of devices, which makes it the mobile operating system with more expression in the market, followed by the tech giant Apple’s iOS.

According to data released by CIRP, in the quarter that ended in June, Android was the most active operating system in the United States, totaling 63% of the total number. In turn, iOS appears in the second position with 36%, remaining only 1% for the remaining mobile operating systems.

Although the trend is clearly on the side of Android, but, still, the tech giant Apple was able to regain ground after a fall in the previous quarter.

If in the analysis between operating systems the results are unfair for Apple since it is the only brand that uses iOS, an analysis between brands can be more enlightening. At this point the results are more balanced, however, the tech giant Apple continues to face strong competition.

With 36% of the activations in the last quarter, the mark of the tech giant Apple was already reached by the South Korean giant Samsung that registered the same 36%. LG then comes with 12%, with Motorola closing the podium with a quasi-residual value.

The tech giant Apple was able to recover against the poor results of the last quarter, however, it has already been matched by the South Korean giant Samsung in the number of activations and remains far in the war of mobile operating systems against the tech giant Google. Although these numbers are from the American market, the results are similar to what is observed in the rest of the world.
