A new Android tablet is coming into the market and bringing something exciting onboard. The Alldocube X is set to offer some “expected” features like a Super AMOLED display, fingerprint sensor, and an ultra-slim design. But then there is also the possibility of a development program, which means it will be unlockable enabling you to develop on it from the start. Not to forget a premium theater-like audio experience.
Priced at $219, Alldocube X doesn’t flaunt itself for being something premium or fancy. It’s a good old Android tablet with strong specs and features that just work. Alldocube X is being advertised as the entertainment beast focusing on quality audio. The tablet has been “optimized for high-quality media entertainment like movies, TV shows and music,” the company says, adding that it features an “independent Hi-Fi chip for processing high quality sound.”

Alldocube X Android Tablet – Specifications
Currently in the prototype mode, the Alldocube X has already managed to raise $20,000 over their initial goal. The company is expecting to deliver first review units by the end of August with Indiegogo backers getting the product in October at the early bird price of $219. The company is expecting to raise the price to $269 after Alldocube X hits the market in November.
Would this be yet another addition to the pile of lacklustre Android tablets? At least the company doesn’t believe so. “A lot of people use their Android tablets for entertainment pastimes like movies, TV shows or listening to music, but most of those tablets on the market are usually adopting HD screens and the ordinary speakers,” Alldocube X makers write.

As the multimedia enthusiast, this may not enough to meet your high-quality entertainment needs. Alldocube X is a high-performance ultra-slim tablet, which features the ultra-sharp 2K Super AMOLED display and high quality Hi-Fi sound. We have carefully optimized every frame of the image and sound to guarantee the unprecedented true-to-life multimedia moments.
“Advanced outdoor visibility technology makes the on-screen content look bright, natural and easy to view in the outdoor,” the company’s Indiegogo listing further claims. If you head over there, you will notice that the tablet is being designed with a focus on entertainment.
From low power consumption to talking about an excellent image quality and best outdoor visibility to cinema-like audio and AK4376A HiFi chip – Alldocube X is promising a lot.
The question is whether this 10.5-inch Android tablet will manage to deliver on those promises and come out as a product that isn’t forgotten in less than a month. Having launched on Indiegogo earlier this month and already receiving a strong backing, it is evident that many people are interested in getting a tablet that is designed keeping the media consumption in mind. It is yet to be seen whether Alldocube X manages to beat the offerings by Samsung or Huawei.
