Ming-Chi Kuo is one of the most senior analysts, accurately predicting Apple’s plans for the future. In his recent notes to investors, Kuo added that Apple will continue to offer three models of the iPhone with the same screen sizes. The notes included a chart which suggested that we will see three variants of the smartphone next year with a 5.8-inch, 6.5-inch OLED and 6.1-inch LCD variant of the smartphone. Let’s dive in to see some more details on the 2019 iPhone models.
2019 iPhone Models To Come In The Same Display Sizes As Current Models
If Kuo’s notes are anything to go by, next year’s iPhone models will feature the same screen size as that of this year’s iPhone XS, iPhone XS Max and iPhone XR. Previously, we have heard several rumors for what we can expect from Apple’s next in line flagship smartphones. However, this is the first time we have heard any specific details on the devices to come.

This year with the iPhone XS, Apple brought forward the same design as that of its predecessor. It features the same notch cutout with a TrueDepth Camera for Face ID and more. However, there are several improvements implemented in the device compared to last year’s model.
Despite the fact that the 2018 lineup is sort of an “S” upgrade, we do get an improved camera module, faster Face ID and a tweaked display for better color accuracy. Other than this, this year also marks the arrival of Apple’s new A12 Bionic chip which is the industry’s first 7nm CPU. Other than this, the iPhone XS Max was a new addition with the gigantic 6.5-inch display, the biggest the iPhone has been since its launch.

Furthermore, the 2019 iPhone models are also expected to feature a triple lens camera setup, a revamped TrueDepth Camera system at the front and could possibly come with support for Apple Pencil.
The next iPhone is still a long way ahead so leaks and rumors will pour in as we go. There will be more to the story, so be sure to stay tuned in for more details.
