After a brief pause, the rumor mill is back at it again. Apple will launch three iPhones this year, according to current reports. Two of these will succeed the current iPhone X. The third will be a low-cost LCD iPhone with a True Depth camera setup.
Keep in mind that ‘low-cost’ in the Apple world means a starting price of $750. Over these past few months, the iPhone 9 (the one with an LCD display) has been the focus of most leaks. Not anymore, as today we’ve got a detailed leak for the larger 6.5 inch iPhone X(s?) Plus. Take a look below for more details.

A Plethora Of Renders From Trusted Source Lay Bare All External Details For The iPhone X Plus; Device Will Measure 157.5×77.4×7.7mm, Carry A Stacked Rear Dual Camera And A Glass Back
Well, this one’s sure to make Apple really angry. We’ve got 13 images for the iPhone X Plus, that in all likelihood will be an iPhone Xs Plus. The device will not depart much from its predecessor aesthetically. However, as expected, it will differ in dimensional terms.
The device will measure 7.7mm in width if today’s information bears fruit. This will put it at the exact same thickness as the iPhone X. It will, however, increase 6mm in height and 6.5mm in width, which is expected from a Plus variant. For comparison, the iPhone 8 Plus is 10.8mm wider and 20mm taller than the iPhone 8.
Naturally, the presence of an edge-to-edge OLED display on the iPhone X Plus allows Apple greater leeway in dimensional terms. Due to the displays, a small increase in size translates into huge practical gains.

Since no technical specifications are available today, we’ll have to do with dimensions and design details. An interesting fact is how the renders depict the iPhone X Plus in white – while it looks unintentional right now, maybe we will finally get a white iPhone this year after all. At the right side of the device (from the front), the power button sits comfortably. The volume keys and the sleep switch are located on the left of the smartphone.
At the bottom, there’s a speaker grille and a lightning port. The build materials are reportedly consistent with the iPhone X, although Apple should improve durability with improved glass. While this leak does provide corroboration for the existence of a larger iPhone, it doesn’t surprise us.
After all, the iPhone X Plus will be an iterative upgrade and hence, Apple will focus more on performance. News from the supply chain suggests that Cupertino has sped up OLED production for the device, looking to avoid last year’s production hiccups. The iPhone X Plus is expected to retail at $999 sources believe. Thoughts? Let us know what you think in the comments section below and stay tuned. We’ll keep you updated on the latest.
