We have been waiting for quite a long time, but Nero and Dante will finally make a glorious comeback early next year with Devil May Cry 5. Not much has been said about the game since the E3 2018 reveal, but some new information on the creation of the game’s characters and bosses emerged online recently.
The latest episode of Capcom Confidential reveals some details on the creation of the game’s characters. Apparently, what really sticks out in the new game are the bosses, who have become bigger since the previous entries in the series. The scale is said to be incredible.

Some new details have also emerged on Nero’s van, which the development team considers as a character and not a vehicle, so to let character designers work on it. The van is also quite detailed.
Regarding the realistic design of the game, it’s been said during the podcast that designs which wouldn’t fit in the visual direction of the game would be refused until they became realistic enough.
Lastly, it seems like the next trailer is going to be amazing. With the Gamescom 2018 right behind the corner, it’s likely we won’t have to wait much longer to see it with our own eyes.
