watchOS 5 Beta 3 is now available for download and here’s how you can download it right away over the air if you are a registered developer.

Though some might dismiss watchOS 5 as a small update for the Apple Watch, but it does bring in a lot of key features to the fold. For example, there’s a new walkie-talkie feature that allows you to have a two way conversation with your Apple Watch contacts by just holding down a button on-screen. There are even more workout types thrown into the mix, allowing you to track more of what you’re doing in detail. But of course, all of these great features won’t be available until later this year for Series 1, Series 2 and Series 3 users.

Today, Apple has released watchOS 5 Beta 3, which brings in even more changes and improvements, ensuring that the Apple Watch keeps on ticking nicely for those who have the beta installed on it. Therefore it’s highly recommended that you go ahead and install the update right away.
In order to do so, first of all place your Apple Watch on its magnetic charger. Once the battery level is beyond the 50% mark, connect your iPhone to WiFi, then navigate to Watch General Software Update. Tap on Download and Install as soon as watchOS 5 Beta 3 shows up.
The download won’t take that long but the installation process will. So please make sure that your Apple Watch stays on its charger at all times during the course of installation. You do not want to risk anything at this point.

Keep in mind that the watchOS 5 Beta is not available for public beta testers. If you like to try it out on your Apple Watch, first you have to install iOS 12 Beta then proceed with installing watchOS 5 without a developer account (linked above) something which I won’t recommend since you cannot downgrade the Apple Watch back to the current publicly available firmware.
