As more and more leaks of the Galaxy Note 9 have started to come forth, it is more than likely than the flagship phablet is going to be seeing an early announcement. The Galaxy Note 8 might have dodged a bullet thanks to the late arrival of the iPhone X, but it does not look like Apple is going to let history repeat itself.
The latest leak unfolds the Galaxy Note 9’s model number as well as the codename ‘Crown’. While Samsung always introduces the next iteration of the Galaxy Note handset that is better in every way, the Galaxy Note 9 featuring the codename ‘Crown’ might mean something else entirely.

Galaxy Note 9 Features Model Number SM-N960U and Could Ship With New SoC and in-Display Fingerprint Reader
On Twitter, Evan Blass has a habit of leaking critical information of smartphones and so far, he has not been wrong on what he has stated. Unfortunately, when we punched in the ‘SM-N960U’ model number, we could not find anything on the Wi-Fi certification website. This means that the handset is not yet being prepped for the announcement, but that does not mean that Samsung will not be formulating other plans for the flagship.
The screen size is pegged at 6.4 inches and as for the battery capacity, it is rated at 3,850-4,000mAh, meaning that the Galaxy Note 9 would have the largest battery ever seen on a Note series smartphone.

The phone is still likely to support Samsung’s Adaptive Fast Charging. Sadly, at this time, the Galaxy Note 9 still remains a mystery as very little information is known about the smartphone. From what we know, there have been rumors that the phablet will feature the next-generation Bixby AI which could make the device smarter than its predecessors.
Coming to the other spectrum of the hardware specifications, the phone is likely to come with 6GB of RAM and 64GB of internal memory for the base model. Featuring 8GB of RAM would be extremely overkill and unnecessary at this point. The following information is pure speculation, but it is possible that the Note 9 features the Exynos 9820, which is said to be in development.
That is pretty much it for now. When there are more leaks surrounding the Galaxy Note 9, we will make sure that you become the first readers to know about it.
