Rumors and leaks for Samsung’s Galaxy S10 lineup are picking up the pace as we head into 2019. Samsung is rumored to make important upgrades on the Galaxy S line next year, sales for the S9 and the high-end market, in general, slowed down in revenue terms this year. Fresh Screen Protector Leak For The Samsung Galaxy S10 Plus Compares Device To Huawei’s Mate 20 And Apple’s iPhone X
One complex and little talked about change that took place on the Apple iPhone X is its chin size. Apple curved the device’s display at the bottom, ensuring that all connectors now sat within a cavity created by this curve. At a time when users were adamant about the smartphone’s notch, this intelligent trickery almost went unnoticed. Now, it looks as if Samsung will finally catch up to Apple (and Huawei), with the Galaxy S10+.

A Christmas present from China’s social network Weibo goes to some length at comparing alleged Galaxy S10 screen protectors to the iPhone X and Mate 20 Pro. This leak seemingly confirms that the upcoming smartphones’ chin will be as thin as those found on Apple and Huawei’s high-end 2017 and 2018 offerings.
As you can see above, the Galaxy S10+ has a thinner chin than the Mate 20 Pro, and only a marginally larger chin than the iPhone X. Samsung will introduce new display panels on the S10 lineup. These panels are termed as HIAA (Hole in Active Area), and they will replace the obtrusive top bezel with a circular cutout for the front camera sensor on the top right of the smartphone. Samsung introduced these panels on the Galaxy A8s earlier this month, but the device has its camera sensor at the top left of the display instead of on the right.
Additionally, the Korean tech giant will also introduce an entry-level Galaxy S smartphone that is dubbed as the Galaxy S10 Lite This device will not feature ultrasonic fingerprint recognition, and it will have a flat display.
