GeForce Driver 419.67 Is Optimized for Sekiro, Shadow of the Tomb Raider RTX; Two New G-SYNC Compatible Displays Added

A new Game Ready GeForce driver (419.67) was released today by NVIDIA, delivering a host of new optimizations and features. To begin with, it’s the optimal driver for Sekiro: Shadows Die Twice, Battlefield V: Firestorm (the Battle Royale mode out today) and the Shadow of the Tomb Raider RTX update that added ray-traced shadows and DLSS to the game.

There’s more, as NVIDIA also added official support for two additional G-SYNC Compatible displays, the ASUS VG278QR and ASUS VG258. There are now seventeen G-SYNC Compatible displays as you can read in this official list.

Last but not least, NVIDIA users can now enable NVIDIA Surround when using G-SYNC Compatible displays. Here’s how the procedure works:

  1. You need a Turing-architecture GeForce RTX graphics card
  2. You need Windows 10, version 1809 or later
  3. All three G-SYNC Compatible monitors must be of identical make and model
  4. In SLI configurations, all monitors must be connected to the primary (master) GPU
  5. The resolution must be set to a Surround resolution, rather than using the three monitors separately.

For example, if you had three 1920×1080 monitors, the resolution in the NVIDIA Control Panel must be set to 5760×1080 in Surround mode, rather than using the three monitors independently.

Of course, as with any new GeForce driver, there’s a host of fixed issues mentioned in the official changelog document. Take a look at them below.
