Tom Clancy’s Ghost Recon Wildlands had a very good first year, building an impressive 10-million-player following, and Ubisoft plans to keep the wild times right on rolling. The publisher has announced Wildlands’ second year will include an additional four free “Special Operations” DLC packs. Each of these updates will have a unique theme, and include new campaign and PvP Ghost War content as well as other tweaks and additions. The Special Operations 1 DLC pack will launch next week, and include the following features:
Teammate Customization: The most requested feature by the community, Team Customization will allow players to customize teammate outfits with all items they have unlocked for their own character
PvP Update: A new game mode called “Sabotage” with five exclusive maps, the first of six new PvP classes for Year 2 and new perk and explosive device
Campaign Update: A free, themed PvE mission and special challenge with exclusive rewards.

Note: Special Operation I includes the content planned for Updates 5 and 6 promised in the original Ghost War roadmap.
Ubisoft is promising more details about Special Operations 1 pack in the coming days, including the new Campaign mission and Ghost War class. Ubisoft will be offering a $30 Year 2 Digital Pass for Wildlands, which includes all four updates, an exclusive customization pack, four Special Ops battle crates, four Ghost War battle crates, and early access to all the new Ghost War classes.
Ghost Recon Wildlands is available on PC, Xbox One, and PS4. The Special Operations 1 DLC pack will be be released on April 10. No word yet on when future updates will arrive, but we can probably expect then arrive on a roughly quarterly basis.
