The new God of War has been a huge hit with critics, becoming the PS4’s highest-rated exclusive, but has all that acclaim translated into sales? Boy, you’d better believe it – according to Sony, the game moved an impressive 3.1 million copies in it’s first three days on sale (April 20 – 22). That means God of War is also the PS4’s fastest-selling exclusive.

It definitely seems like Kratos has his feet back on solid ground after a few shaky years. God of War director Cory Barlog recently let slip that he has a whopping five sequels planned, so expect the franchise to continue being a cornerstone for Sony for some time to come.
