Google One is the latest in the company’s repertoire of confusing and potentially conflicting services. Touted as an alternative for Google Drive, Google One’s launch has been fraught with delays posted its announcement a few days ago. The storage service was introduced in May, but only select users got invited to try it out, following its official launch a few days ago. It was supposed to be available to everyone in the US nothing has come of it yet.
Today, Google One is set to release in Mexico, Brazil, and Argentina and other regions in the coming weeks. In a blog post on Google Latin America, the company is promising that its storage service will land in the coming weeks in Argentina, Mexico, and Brazil. Like their North American counterparts, all Google Drive paid users will be upgraded to the new Google One and will leave out G Suite users. There’s no word on when the service will be available to free users.

Google One’s paid plans are cheaper and can be shared with family members, unlike Drive. You even get dedicated 24×7 support for all Google products along with your subscription. Google says that it will continue expanding One to more countries in Latin America and around the world later in the next months.
