Horizon Zero Dawn 2 has been teased by Janina Gavankar, the actress who voiced Tatai in the Zero Dawn Frozen Wilds expansion.
Speaking to a cosplayer at the Star Wars Celebration who portrayed Gavankar as Iden Versio in Star Wars Battlefront II, the actress basically confirmed Horizon Zero Dawn 2 and teased that it will be even more incredible than Guerrilla’s PS4 hit title from 2017.
“It’s incredible, wait ’til you see the sequel. You’re gonna die – I know some secrets! – you’re gonna die”, she said after the cosplayer told her that Gavankar got her into playing Horizon.
Truth be told, a sequel to 2017’s Horizon Zero Dawn is basically a given due to the action-RPG having received widespread critical acclaim and numerous awards. Earlier this year, Sony reported that the game has sold more than 10 million copies globally since its launch back in February 2017.
“And yet, here we are, already well over 10 million copies sold worldwide; the idea that we were able to bring Aloy’s journey to so many players is astounding”, Guerrilla Games’ managing director Hermen Hulst wrote on the official PS Blog.
