The method is quite easy and you will just need to add up some commands to change the resolution of your device by executing them through USB debugging. So follow the below steps to proceed.

Steps to Change Android’s Screen Resolution Without Rooting:

Step 1. First of all, you need to enable the USB Debugging on your Android device. Well, for that, you need to head to the Settings About Page Build Number. Now you need to tap on the Build Number 7 times until you see a notification that will tell that the Developer options are enabled.

Step 2. In the next step, you need to head over to the Settings Developer Options USB debugging. There you need to enable the USB Debugging mode.

Step 3. Now connect your Android device to your computer via USB Cable and then open Command Prompt on your computer. There you need to enter the following command

adb shell

Wait for few seconds and then enter the following command

dumpsys display | grep mBaseDisplayInfo

There you need to look for the density value as shown in the screenshot above. Note down the existing DPI values and then you need to replace them.

Step 4. Well, Android’s DPI values vary between 120 and 640. You need to choose the perfect DPI that will balance with your phone size. You need to enter the below command in the command prompt and make sure to change the [DPI] with the values of your choice.

wm density [DPI] adb reboot

That’s it! This is what you need to do if you want to change your Android’s screen resolution. Your phone will now reboot and you will see a screen with different resolution.
