Apple has Released the Fifth beta of iOS 11.4.1 and macOS 10.13.6 for Developers

In a rather predictable and unsurprising move, Apple has released iOS 11.4.1 Beta 5 and macOS 10.13.6 Beta 5 to registered developers. Both of the updates are available over the air and if you have a previous version of the beta installed on your device, then you are all set to download the latest release over the air.

In order to download iOS 11.4.1 Beta 5 over the air, just plug your iPhone or iPad to a wall outlet, connect to WiFi and then navigate to Settings General Software Update. Now simply tap on Download and Install once the update shows up.

macOS, on the other hand, can be updated straight from the Mac App Store. Save all your work, launch the Mac App Store, then go to the Updates tab and you’ll see the update available here for download. Tap on ‘Update’ and you’re golden.

It’s highly recommend that you update your devices right away if you haven’t already since the new update focuses on bug fixes and stability related improvements. If you’re using the software to test out your apps, games or anything else, then latest software updates are a godsend whenever they arrive.
