Where the iPhone X carries a ridiculous price of $999, the iPhone X successor will offer a much better proposition to those who are looking to upgrade this year. The succeeding model is expected to cost $899, whereas the 6.5-inch iPhone X Plus will carry just a $100 premium.
In no way are these devices looking to feature a price/performance element, but they will sport slightly better internals and the original iPhone X’s price tag will be reduced even further, leading to potentially better sales in the future.

Apple Introducing $100 Price Cut to Bring iPhone X Plus Into the $999 Price Tag Range – Is It Still Too Expensive?
According to RBC, the $100 price cut is going to be introduced in September later this year in order to accommodate the iPhone X Plus, which is going to be the largest iPhone model ever produced. However, do not let its massive 6.5-inch screen size fool you as sources close to the matter have stated that the flagship is going to be as big as the iPhone 8 Plus.
The increased size will mean that we could be seeing the biggest battery in an iPhone to date, but the $999 price might bring a lot of concern to the average consumer, looking at the fate of the iPhone X. As for the 6.1-inch iPhone with LCD, it is expected to start at $700+ and could get the same edge-to-edge glass.
