The Mobile World Congress of this year 2019 which took place in Barcelona has kicked off with the giant companies and manufacturers announcing their main creations. And the well-known South Korean giant LG has been one of the companies that did not want to miss this event, which took the opportunity to officially announce its all-new LG G8 ThinQ, one of the most advanced smartphones of this year which has the ability to read the veins in our palm.
According to the well-known media portal, of course, Android Authority, the all-new LG flagship incorporates a sensor that has the ability to recognize the veins of the palm of the hand of users, a technology which is named as Hand ID.

And not only that even the company, of course, the South Korean giant LG claims that it is the first manufacturer in the world to offer this new feature, which is able to read the veins of the hand for which we should thank the front Z-camera of the device.
The front camera of the LG G8 ThinQ has the ability to recognize the shape, thickness and other characteristics of the veins of the hands of the users. And this is possible simply due to the Z camera that uses the infrared absorption characteristics of hemoglobin in a user’s blood to map such veins.
Using hand vein recognition to unlock your smartphone is a simple process and to do this you just have to place your hand in front of the front camera and wait for the device to recognize the veins. In addition, the South Korean giant LG ensures that the authentication method is not affected by light from external sources, so it works perfectly in low light and bright environments.
In the same way, the Z camera of LG G8 ThinQ also allows facial recognition in 3D, and there is a fingerprint sensor in the back of the device, so you can also use these methods if the all-new security feature, veins reader does not convince.
