When I think of the brand Lian Li, RGB Fans isn’t my first thought, I think of the plethora of aluminum chassis’ for enthusiasts. Lian Li is proud to announce the availability of its newest case fans featuring RGB lighting: the BORA LITE 120 (BR LITE 120). The BORA LITE 120 (BR LITE 120) case fans improve on the original Bora RGB by adding a stand-out aluminum frame to give it a more reflective property for improved visual appeal. It’s compatible with RGB control technologies from the top motherboard brands, allowing it to fully maximize the lighting potential of its 12 RGB LEDs.
Lian Li Releasing New RGB Case Fans
While RGB may not be what they are most well known for, its not something they’re new to with the Alpha 550 using the Bora Lite 120 RGB Fans shown today. The fans use CNC machined aluminum frames that get lit up by the 12 RGB LEDs integrated into the center of the fan hub.

Lian Li promises to continue doing what its known for, with aluminum construction. clean and crisp lines as well as quiet operation. Lian Li says the Bora Lites hydraulic bearings will provide quiet operation even at the fans top speed range of 1500 RPM. The fans get anti-vibration pads at all four corners as is expected on higher end premium fans from others like Noctua, NZXT and Phanteks which will prevent loud vibrations from the fans.
With the RGB LEDs and PWM fan using separate connectors, you have a bit more wiring to do in your case, but with most RGB fans this is the norm. The 4-pin RGB connectors have male and female ends allowing daisy chaining, for multiple fans or other components to make your system look like an Eastern European nightclub. So far we have confirmation on them working with ASUS Aura Sync, ASRock PolyChrome Sync, Gigabyte’s RGB Fusion and MSI’s Mystic Light, no word on Biostar ViViD LED DJ though.

The Lian Li Bora Lite fans are available on Newegg now in untreated aluminum and black anodized aluminum frames for just under $40 for a pack of three which is rather competitive,
