This month’s Patch Tuesday updates brought in a number of problems and headaches for some users. Microsoft has been spending the last few days fixing those issues – one brought by an Intel driver and another had to do with HP drivers. If you are facing the loss of audio on your devices after installing cumulative updates, an update is now available. For those who were getting Blue Screen of Death (BSOD), the company has now released an update to address that problem, as well.
Last week we shared with you a few steps to fix Windows 10 BSOD caused by the latest cumulative update sent to Windows 10 April 2018 Update and October 2018 Update. Microsoft said that the company has identified an HP driver with known incompatibility with certain HP devices running Windows 10 versions 1803 and 1809.

While you can remove this driver manually through the steps shared earlier, Microsoft has now also released a small update that will automatically remove the incompatible driver from affected devices. “HP is actively working on this issue,” the company added.

The latest update aimed to address the BSOD caused by incompatible drivers should be installed automatically on your machines through Windows Update. However, you can also manually download KB4468304 from Microsoft Catalog for Windows 10 versions 1803 and 1809.
After installing it, the Windows maker has recommended users to restart their machines.
After installing the HP keyboard driver, version 11.0.3.1, via Windows Update or if you manually installed it, HP devices may experience a blue screen stop error: WDF_VIOLATION.
This driver has a known incompatibility with certain HP devices on Windows 10 versions 1803 and 1809.
You may have to restart the computer after you apply this update.
If you are unable to boot into the operating system, follow these steps to go to Advanced Setup and fix the issue.
