Your Phone app by Microsoft will be available for both iOS and Android. However, the feature set will be different on both platforms. This is due to the fact that the company can mirror more features on Windows 10 PC from an Android phone. This will allow you to not pick up your phone every time when you’re working.

Initially, Microsoft’s app will include features such as SMS, notifications and photos and gradually, it will probably expand when the company sees fit. The concept of the app is based on Dell’s attempts to show phone calls and notifications on a Windows PC.
The app was unveiled today for Windows 10 at Microsoft’s Build Developer conference. The company will begin testing the Your Phone app with Windows Insider this week. The feedback will allow the company to make it part of Windows 10 eventually.
There have been no official words on the release date of the app but we can presume that it will arrive with the company’s next big Windows update. The company is currently working on the next major update for Windows 10 which is codenamed as “Redstone 5”. The update is expected to arrive later this fall, so be sure to keep a lookout for it.
