No Man’s Sky creator Sean Murray has taken to Twitter to tease a small imminent announcement that appears to be related to the action-survival title.
Murray took to Twitter yesterday to retweet a tweet from last year in which he teased he “small” announcement related to No Man’s Sky.

“Small announcement incoming”, he tweeted last year. “We generally say as little as possible now, and focus on making things for people to play… but this was about to leak.”

As it turned out, this “small’ announcement was in fact the announcement of the major No Man’s Sky content update, No Man’s NEXT. This “small” update introduced a full multiplayer experience, near-unlimited base building, command of freighter armadas, a graphical overhaul and an Xbox One port..
On social media and the ResetEra forums, people are speculating about Murray’s apparent tease, and many are hoping for a No Man’s Sky release on the Nintendo Switch.

Murray’s studio Hello Games is currently working on The Last Campfire but since Murray retweeted an old tweet related to No Man’s Sky it’s unlikely that this new tease is related to that title.
