Tesla’s prominent position in the automotive market has created an increasing discomfort in competition and in the rest of the traditional car industry. Their vehicles are disruptive and open doors to a new market that many seem to be delaying.
This week the strong man from Tesla had already alerted his employees to an abnormal situation with a former team member and now the statement has been formalized. This former employee will be sued for hacking, theft, and leakage of information from Tesla.
It was today that a lawsuit filed by Tesla in court and it is focused on one of its former employees and the acts he committed against the company. This comes to materialize all the recent accusations that Elon Musk shared with the other officials.
This lawsuit is against Martin Tripp, a former process technician at Tesla’s Gigafactory in Nevada. Tesla accuses it of stealing sensitive information and sharing it with others outside the company.
To do so, he will have installed “hacking software” on the computers of 3 Tesla employees, from which he steals sensitive information periodically.
According to Tesla, Martin Tripp will have already admitted these practices and also that he was the source of much information for the press, much of it wrong and false.
Elon Musk had warned earlier this week that this problem existed within Tesla and it would be being handled to be eliminated in a full and rapid manner.
Tesla has had production problems and will soon increase it to achieve the goals it has committed to. With this situation, it eliminates some internal problems and undermining the stability of the company.
