The OnePlus 7 is going to be one of the most highly anticipated flagships of this year and will be catered to customers who don’t want to shell out a lot of money for the likes of the Galaxy S10, or the Galaxy S10 Plus. OnePlus made an appearance at the now concluded MWC 2019 trade show, but the company didn’t reveal anything regarding the upcoming flagship. Thankfully, the latest leak reveals what the OnePlus 7 will look like and the company has allegedly taken an interesting step towards the phone’s design.
OnePlus 7 Gets an Upgrade in the Rear Camera, According to These Images; Another Sensor Is Added to the Configuration
Thanks to the collaboration between PriceBaba and OnLeaks, we are greeted with not just the image gallery of the upcoming OnePlus 7, but a 360-degree video showing how the device could potentially look. Having a pop-up selfie camera was an interesting choice for the company, assuming this design is the final one. Also, if you’ve forgotten, there was a previous image leak we reported related to how the front of the smartphone looked and it did not possess any notch.

Keep in mind that this earlier reported leak did not show an in-display cutout, which could mean the company has embraced the motorized camera approach as Vivo did with its NEX flagship that launched last year. Come to think of it, both OnePlus and Vivo are subsidiaries belonging to the Chinese multinational company BBK Electronics, so it’s possible that the design was inspired by previously launched handsets.
The headphone jack is not present, and we had a feeling it wouldn’t be included, given the fact the company omitted it when it launched the OnePlus 6T late last year. As for the specifications, we expected the OnePlus 7 to feature ‘top of the line’ hardware for an Android flagship ranging from a Snapdragon 855. The SoC is expected to be paired with a minimum of 6GB RAM variant, and possibly going up to 12GB of RAM for the top-tier model.
Since OnePlus introduced a 10GB RAM version of its OnePlus 6T McLaren Edition, it’s not difficult to imagine the upcoming flagship sporting more memory than your average notebook. So when can we expect the OnePlus 7? The phone maker has stated that its 5G-ready handset should be launched before the end of May, 2019, so the non-5G device could be unveiled alongside it.
Given its new alleged design and improved hardware, OnePlus could attach a slightly bigger price than what was stamped with the OnePlus 6T, so we’ll let you know everything in the future.
