The smartphone maker will continue to make premium products, which means that there is a possibility that we will only be seeing one, or two devices from it annually. However, things might change in the future, with the manufacturer possibly branching out with cheaper handsets, but that is going to be a long time from now.

The plan of OnePlus will be to make sure that its current stock depletes completely ahead of future smartphone launches. With the release of the Qualcomm Snapdragon 710, which is said to offer 20 percent fast CPU performance than the Snapdragon 660 and 35 percent faster GPU performance, OnePlus will have a lot of options when it comes to releasing cheaper devices in the future.
For example, Google is reportedly preparing a cheaper Pixel smartphone, which is said to be fueled by the same Qualcomm Snapdragon 710, but it will be launched during the first half of 2019. This is because, in a market littered with Android-powered phones, Google will eventually need to diversify its product lineup while staying relevant.
OnePlus will eventually be making the same move but that is going to take place much later. It is possible that the company makes this decision much sooner than later, as this particular industry is viciously competitive, but let us see what happens.
