Overkill’s The Walking Dead has been released on PC a few months back, but it seems like it may a little longer for the game to release on PlayStation 4 and Xbox One.
A few hours ago, some images started circulating online revealing that all PlayStation Store pre-orders for the game were getting refunded, as the game has been cancelled. Shortly after the image started doing the rounds, 505 games confirmed on Twitter that the game has only been postponed, as development is still proceeding.

Overkill’s The Walking Dead has been released on PC last November, but the game is hardly the best one based on the popular franchise. Whhile there’s nothing wrong with the game’s mechanics, its technical flaws damage the experience considerably.
Overkill’s The Walking Dead isn’t a terrible game but compared to more polished cooperative shooters, it just comes up short in so many ways. From the technical flaws to the mindless combat, it’s tough to recommend to anyone unless they are die-hard fans of The Walking Dead. Even then, it’s best to play with a dedicated group of players who are very, very patient.
Overkill’s The Walking Dead is now available on PC. The game launches on a yet to be confirmed release date on PS4 and Xbox One.
