Persona 4 New Project To Be Revealed This Week, Persona Magazine Teases

Persona 3 and Persona 5 are soon going to be expanded with two different rhythm games, but it seems like Persona 4 hasn’t been forgotten, as something new regarding one of the most popular entries in the series will be revealed in the next few days.

Twitter user Gespy spotted on the cover of the next issue of Persona Magazine, releasing on May 24th in Japan, a tease for a Persona 4 new project involving a new game, anime, and manga. The new game is not necessarily a sequel, as it may be another spin-off or even a new version of Persona 4 Golden, an enhanced version of the original game released only on PlayStation Vita. No matter the case, fans of the story of Yu Narukami and his friends have something to look forward to.

The latest entry in the series is Persona 5, released last year in North America and Europe. The game is one of the best JRPG released in recent years, thanks to its story, characters, gameplay and stylish presentation.

It’s been a long time since I’ve been able to metaphorically unwrap a new Persona title and I can confidently say that it was worth the wait. There’s something special about the stylish role-playing game series that no other RPG maker can come close to emulating (although Mind-Zero certainly tried). While the battles take a backseat to the story in Persona 5, it’s that daring tale of phantom thieves that keeps drawing me back in. Now that I’ve finally ripped myself away from the PS4 long enough to pen the review, I can’t wait to put the mask back on and steal a few more hearts.
