Sony is currently sending out beta invites for the upcoming PlayStation 4 system update 6.5.
Details about the upcoming firmware update haven’t been shared, but just like system update 6.0 beta , the new system software beta doesn’t include any new major consumer-facing features”. Instead, Sony is asking the community to help “fine-tuning the performance and stability improvements the update brings.”

Those who have been invited to participate in the beta download the beta through a special link, and then provide their feedback on a beta forum.
PS4 system software 6.0 was rolled out back in September of last year, and Sony rolled out the most current system version, version 6.20, on December12, 2018.
