Previously, Samsung was reported to unveil a total of three Galaxy S10 models in 2019, and while sifting through the Galaxy S9 Plus update, eagle eyes found mentions of a fourth Galaxy S10 variant that could be launched in the coming future. Let us take a look at the four versions and see what can separate all of them in terms of specifications and features.
Smallest Galaxy S10 Reportedly Getting a 5.8-Inch Screen With a Side-Mounted Fingerprint Scanner
While checking out the Galaxy S9 Plus Android 9 Pie update, XDA Developers was able to report that Samsung might be preparing a total of four Galaxy S10 variants. The smallest one will sport a 5.8-inch Super AMOLED screen, along with a side-mounted fingerprint reader and a single rear camera. This is going to be the cheapest model out of them all so let us see in the future if Samsung’s strategy works out when it comes to offering an inexpensive flagship right off the bat.

The second variant is expected to come with the same display size, same position of the fingerprint reader, but instead of a single rear camera, it will come with a dual-rear-camera setup. The third one is going to be a much larger model, sporting a 6.44-inch Super AMOLED screen with a triple-camera system at the back of the flagship and a dual-front-facing shooter for better selfie-capturing performance.
Last, but certainly not least, we have the top-tier Galaxy S10 Plus variant, which will have all the internals that the third version will have, but will get a 5G modem. Samsung has reported that it will launch the 5G-capable Galaxy S10 Plus on its home turf first, which is South Korea, followed by other markets when 5G networks start to proliferate.

As for the hardware specifications, each model is expected to feature Samsung’s Exynos 9820 or a Qualcomm Snapdragon 855 equivalent, and we believe that both of them are going to be made using TSMC’s 7nm FinFET architecture. As for the 5G modem, it can be the Snapdragon X50 or the Exynos Modem 5100, depending on which region the flagship is sold in.
