Samsung to Eventually Release the Galaxy S9 and Galaxy S9+ for a Total of 110 Markets

Samsung has confirmed that its latest flagships, Galaxy S9 and Galaxy S9+, will be available in 110 markets worldwide by the end of March. After a two-week pre-order period, the company’s latest offerings will start retailing from today.

Both the Galaxy S9 and Galaxy S9+ Have Perfected the Massive Changes Found in Their Predecessors

The latest flagship series will debut in nearly 70 markets, and by the end of March, they will be available in 110 markets. We are not privy to the exact distribution plan yet. The lineup is already retailing in the U.S. since midnight. Customers living in the region have an advantage as there are a lot of promotions going on, including a $350 trade-in deal, if you have that supported list of devices.

As with other high-end smartphones from the Korean giant, all color variants are not available globally, and the Titanium Gray color is mostly available in North America. European customers get to choose from Lilac Purple, Midnight Black, and Coral Blue. Asian consumers can choose between Lilac Purple and Midnight Black. Samsung will eventually introduce limited edition versions of the phone later on, along with possible color options.

The new lineup doesn’t bring anything exceptionally new to the table in terms of technology but focuses more on perfecting the features most frequently used by consumers and the gripes found on the Galaxy S8 and Galaxy S8+. Samsung has also incorporated feedback from customers, most notable of which is relocating the fingerprint scanner.

The camera is also one of the key highlights of the lineup, and there are marked improvements in artificial intelligence computing. The phones will have the same 10nm chips that will greatly improve efficiency and performance to a small degree though it would have been better had we seen 7nm SoC. The series has received decent reviews for now. Now it’s time to see how Samsung Galaxy S9 and Galaxy S9+ will perform in the market.
