Spider-Man “Turf Wars” DLC Gets a Release Date, Main Villain Revealed

Sony has quietly dated the next chapter of Spider-Man’s The City That Never Sleeps season pass. While a big announcement hasn’t been made, the game’s main menu reveals the Turf Wars DLC is set to drop in a couple weeks on November 20.

A very brief description of the Turf Wars DLC is also included:

“Butt heads with Hammerhead in the new DLC, The City That Never Sleeps: Turf Wars.”

Hammerhead was introduced in the first chapter of The City That Never Sleeps, The Heist. The hard-headed villain cost Spidey somebody close to him, so it seems likely their rivalry is only going to escalate in this second chapter.

The City That Never Sleeps consists of three chapters – the third, entitled Silver Lining, will launch sometime in December. The City That Never Sleeps will set you back $25, or you can buy each chapter individually for $10. It is also included in the Spider-Man Digital Deluxe Edition, which will cost you $80.

Spider-Man has been a big success for Sony, burning up the sales charts and picking up positive reviews, including one from Wccftech’s own Kai Powell…

“Marvel’s Spider-Man does so many things right and swings close to greatness, but it just can’t nail the superhero landing. A few holes in the spider-web of deceit and villainy can be quite visible if you focus too much on the story. But If you look beyond that and focus on the web-slinging and combat, Insomniac has created what is certainly one of the best superhero games to date. Insomniac has found a way to weave together the human side of Peter Parker with the combat and web-slinging of Spider-Man to create a web of intrigue that any PlayStation 4-owning superhero fan should play.”

Marvel’s Spider-Man is available exclusively on PS4. Anybody out there started playing the season pass? What are your thoughts so far?
