The Witcher 3 Enhanced Toussaint Mod Improves The Region’s Lighting

The Witcher 3 received a brand new area with the Blood and Wine DLC, the Duchy of Toussaint. The area looks very different from the other locations of the game, mostly due to the lighting, which makes everything vibrant, maybe even too much. If you don’t like the exaggerated look of Toussaint, you will be happy to know that a new mod changing the lighting of the area has been released today.

The Witcher 3 Toussaint Enhanced Mod changes the lighting in the Toussaint area, making it look more natural and more in line with the lighting of the other areas of the game.

The Witcher 3 Toussaint Enhanced mod enhances Toussaint’s lighting by removing the horrible yellow lights, cyan skies, dark distance fog and much more.
BETA – still only changes the base ENV VERY unpolished

What this mod tries to accomplish is pretty much making Toussaint a neutral and normal region with minimal edits, but keeping all the positive traits vanilla has (sunrises, sunsets). Now that it’s neutral, it’s much easier to make a good reshade that can cover both vanilla and Toussaint.
Toussaint still looks warm, but not the “in your face” kind of thing that vanilla for some reason is.

You can download the mod by heading over to Nexus Mods.

The Witcher 3 is now available in all regions on PC, PlayStation 4 and Xbox One.
