This time around, not a lot of devices have received the latest Android P developer preview. Essentials rolled it out merely hours after Google and the Xperia XZ2 got it later. Today, the OnePlus 6 gets the piece of the action. This new update is only for the OnePlus 6, and you can download it immediately. Here’s the changelog.

The Nokia 7 Plus has had its share of hiccups with the previous Android P release that it received about a month ago. An OTA that was presumed to be the latest developer preview downgraded the phone to Oreo, much to the dismay of users. Thankfully, HMD sorted it out and now the device is receiving its Android P Beta 3/Developer Preview 4 build. This update bumps up the Android security level of the device to July 2018 and brings some system stability improvements to the Beta program.

The beta brings in support for App Actions and Slices which are new Android P APIs help developers drive user engagement for their app from within content aggregators such as Google Feed. They do so by displaying snippets of the app’s UI (Slices) or contextual actions based on the app’s capabilities (App Actions). Slices provide a dynamic, interactive yet seamless way to showcase content such as live-data, scrolling content, inline actions and more.
