Those who managed to sign up with the Skip Ahead program might be regretting right now since Microsoft is releasing a second build this week to Windows Insiders in the Fast Ring. As reported earlier today, the company confirmed that there will be no new build coming to Skip Ahead Insiders this week who are testing Windows 10 19H1 (the version releasing next year).
But for Fast Ring Insiders, there appears to be plenty of features to play with. Windows 10 Redstone 5 Insider Preview Build 17730 is now with the coveted Your Phone app finally going live for all the Insiders. Here are all the details.

Aligning the Insider Feature Update experience with Retail
When you are asked to restart for new flights, you will now receive the same notifications and experience as what we plan to provide to our retail customers. Depending on your ring, you will be asked to schedule your restart for the first couple of days, then we will ask if we could automatically schedule restarts outside of your active hours. Your participation in this experience will help us understand rough edges to improve before we release to retail.
Microsoft to expected to release Windows 10 Redstone 5 aka Windows 10 October 2018 Update to the public later this year, in October. The company appears to be at the end of the development road as we can see from the reducing number of the features coming with every new build. However, the company is continuing to work on removing all the bugs plaguing the release as it still has quite a few weeks until the public release.
For details on bug fixes, improvements, and known issues of today’s build, head over to the official announcement.
