Vivo NEX will be available in many international markets by the end of the month, according to the manufacturer. Being a company of Chinese origin, the phone was initially released in China and it is eventually expected to launch in other markets but the specifics such as the date and markets were not known earlier.
While the release of the flagship has been confirmed for a variety of markets, the U.S. still happens to be the one where the company has not given a word on this. Vivo has now announced that its Vivo NEX flagship smartphone will be released in India, Hong Kong, Russia, Malaysia, and Taiwan before the end of July.

Vivo still hasn’t revealed the exact date and it is also not known what the phone will cost in these countries either. Furthermore, it is not known if the device will ever be launched in Europe and the U.S. since these regions are where other Chinese competitors Xiaomi and Huawei have already targeted, or are looking to target.
Vivo NEX was touted as the smartphone with the highest screen-to-body ratios but for now, OPPO Find X holds this title. The Vivo NEX has a screen-to-body ratio of 91.24 percent which the company was able to achieve by introducing a pop-up camera. The camera only slides out when the camera app is activated and switched to the front-facing view from inside the app.
Two variants of the Vivo NEX were introduced initially; the Vivo NEX S, which is a flagship phone, and Vivo NEX A, which is a mid-range phone. Even though the phones look identical, their specs are quite different. The Vivo NEX S is powered by the Snapdragon 845 64-bit octa-core chipset and has 8GB of RAM. For now, two storage options are available; 128GB and 256GB. The Vivo NEX A is fueled by the Snapdragon 710 64-bit octa-core SoC and it is armed with 6GB of RAM and 128GB of internal storage. Both devices phones have a 6.59-inch display with a resolution measuring at 2,316 x 1,080.
Even if an unlocked variant of the Vivo NEX is being sold in the U.S., chances are that buyers will need to pay the full price to start using it.
