Microsoft continues to deliver multiple cumulative updates to Windows 10. The system that was pretty straightforward with everyone expecting these updates on Patch Tuesday has gone completely out of control. This started back in January when the company was scrambling to send security fixes after the devastating chip bugs were prematurely reported. As Intel tried to deliver updates that didn’t break systems, Microsoft had to send and pull back updates. Months later, Microsoft is yet to go back to those smooth sailing Windows 10 cumulative updates.
Windows 10 KB4092077 for Creators Update
In today’s updates, the company has released a patch for Windows 10 Creators Update only, bringing just one fix. It did so earlier this week for Windows 10 Fall Creators Update. Less than a week away from Patch Tuesday, Microsoft is now rolling out yet another Windows 10 cumulative update for Creators Update PCs (aka version 1703).

Windows 10 Cumulative Update KB4092077 Build 15063.936 (same build as the last one but different support number) brings the following fix:
Addresses issue where, after installing this update, some localized devices have incorrect strings or unusual behavior in different areas of the user interface (UI) that make the UI unusable.
The update also brings one known issue that might prevent its installation on some devices as it will only apply on those “computers on which the antivirus ISV updated the ALLOW REGKEY.” Microsoft has advised users to contact their antivirus manufacturer to verify that their software is compatible and that they have set the following REGKEY on the computer:
