Wolfenstein II: The New Colossus, the Video Game Awards’ ‘Best Action Game of 2017’ winner, comes to Nintendo Switch this Summer. Fight through post-nuclear Manhattan, occupied Roswell, New Mexico, and the embattled bayous and boulevards of New Orleans as you liberate the American people from their Nazi oppressors.

As BJ Blazkowicz, experience an action-packed story brought to life by extraordinary characters. Reunite with your friends and fellow freedom fighters as you take on the evil Frau Engel and her Nazi army. Wage the second American Revolution your way – at home or on the go. And, for the perfect blend of immersion and accuracy, utilize the Nintendo Switch’s unique motion controls to stop the Nazi threat.

The Switch version of Wolfenstein II is being developed by Panic Button (who also brought Doom to the system) – you can check out more gameplay footage of the port here. Wolfenstein II’s resolution, textures and character models take a bit of a hit, and everything’s running at only 30fps, but still, the Switch version looks surprisingly comparable to its Xbox One and PS4 big brothers.

Regardless of what platform you play it on, Wolfenstein II is worth a try. In his review, Wccf’s Chris Wray found the game to be an impressive, absorbing experience:

“Wolfenstein: The New Colossus subverts the old-school shooter tradition by featuring an incredible cast of characters with varied personalities in a world that makes you want to explore more and more of the society it features. The gameplay is very engaging, though can sometimes outstay its welcome at parts. Whatever its flaws, Wolfenstein is a great game that’s well worth playing and will keep you coming back for more as you purge the US of Nazis.”

Wolfenstein II: The New Colossus is available now for PC, Xbox One, and PS4. The game storms onto the Switch on June 29.
