Xiaomi is apparently all set to reveal a new premium smartphone apparently named POCOPHONE F1. The phone will reportedly feature a new kind of cooling system, with some of the primary specifications of the device having become known when it received its Bluetooth certification last week. According to the listing, the phone will be powered by Qualcomm’s Snapdragon 845 chipset and it will support Bluetooth 5.0, along with a liquid-cooled processor, which is unconventional for the majority of smartphones.
The Xiaomi POCOPHONE F1 Sounds Like the Mi 8 Came With a Smaller Screen – Remaining Specifications Remain Constant With the Snapdragon 845-Powered Flagship
The Bluetooth SIG database also mentioned that the phone will have a dual-camera at the back, featuring a 12MP and a 5MP camera combo. The primary camera will have a pixel size of 1.4µm and it will sport a dual-pixel autofocus. The front camera will be 20MP and it will support the Super Pixel technology that will enable it to reduce noise in the pictures taken. The Xiaomi Mi 8, which was released recently, is the first smartphone from the Android camp that features an infrared facial detection system similar to the one seen on Apple iPhone X.

As per the listing, the POCOPHONE F1 will also include a facial recognition system that will have an advanced facial recognition technology that will be boosted by AI. The infrared system will be more secure than the conventional solution and it will work fine even in pitch darkness. The listing has also revealed that the device will run Android-based MIUI 10.
Earlier this month, the POCOPHONE F1 got certified from the EEC in Europe and the FCC in the U.S. The FCC listing mentioned the dimensions of 76 x 151mm. According to earlier rumours, the phone will either have 64GB or 128GB of internal memory and both the variants will be accompanied by 6GB of RAM. The high-end smartphone will sport a 5.99-inch screen with an FHD+ resolution and a notch. This honestly looks like the Mi 8 has been given a smaller screen and a different name so that it can be authorized to sell in different countries, such as the U.S.
All other specification details that we might have missed out on our present down below, taking from the Bluetooth SIG description.

It has a 12MP + 5MP dual camera setup with 1.4µm large pixels and dual pixel autofocus on the main sensor. POCO F1 has a 20MP front camera which supports Super Pixel—technology that combines the information of four pixels into one large pixel, which can reduce photo noise, capture more light and enhance photo quality, especially in low-light conditions.
