Pocophone F1 comes with a massive 5.99 inches Full HD+ IPS Display. The most amazing part, it features a not display. But, Android Authority finds the display notch quite fat and it feels completely unnecessary.

The color reproduction of Pocophone F1 is quite impressive. The display specs are 5.99 inch IPS LCD which shares the resolution of 1080×2246. The display arrives with 18:9 aspect ratio with 416 dpi.

Specifications of Pocophone F1

The specifications of Pocophone F1 is quite attractive and it features almost everything that needed to be a premium smartphone. Firstly, the smartphone is powered by a powerful octa-core Snapdragon 845 processor that’s the same as we see on OnePlus 6 and many other high-end smartphones.

The phone also has a Graphical Processing Unit of Adreno 630 which gives the phone an upper hand on gaming. If this wasn’t enough to convince you, the smartphone also has 6GB of RAM and 64GB of internal storage which can be expanded with the help of microSD card.

Apart from all of these, the phone does have support for 3.5mm Audio Jack, USB Type C, WiFi, 4G LTE, Glonass, Bluetooth 5.0 LE and more. The phone runs on latest Android 8.1 Oreo out of the box and its backed up by a 4,000mAh battery. Well, the phone also has support for Quick Charge 3.0

The smartphone is well suited for gaming and multitasking purposes, thanks to its liquid cooling system that’s supposed to enable sustained high-speed operating. According to the reports from Android Authority, the phone feels fast and it’s as smooth as you would expect from a Snapdragon 845 SoC.

Camera

According to the Android Authority, the camera of Pocophone F1 is quite depressive. The phone features 12 Megapixel main sensor and 5 Megapixel secondary sensor. The camera performance is acceptable in good lighting condition, but it’s never satisfactory.

The picture quality looks washed out and its even seems blurry even in good lighting condition. The portrait mode also fails to deliver acceptable results. On the front of the phone packs 20 Megapixel primary sensor which again failed to convince Android Authority staffs.

However, Android Authority claims that the company might tweak its camera performance before officially rolling out. Or they can even push an update which might improve the camera performance.

Final Verdict

Well, according to Android Authority, the Pocophone F1 is the phone which performs great due to its Snapdragon 845 processor and 6GB of RAM. The price of the phone is supposed to be affordable and cheap compared to other phone running on the same processor.

However, if you are looking for an affordable phone which can perform well in every aspect, then Pocophone might disappoint you. It’s not that the phone is bad, but the camera is not up to the mark, the software version is also a little buggy.

We have to wait for some more time to see the final version of the phone and until then its harder to predict anything for the upcoming Pocophone F1. So, what’s your opinion on this? Share your views in the comment box below.
